So Czar Putins forces attacked a bomb shelter clearly marked as having children in it.

We can agree on that.

We can agree that a theater with a bomb shelter, that was marked as having kids in there,  was attacked.

Everything else, these days, is difficult to confirm.

And I am not saying, the Russians didn't do it.

I am just saying that it is a little bit confusing, how reporting about it changed.

And no, I do not read russian news. Since I am certain, that one are in favor of Putins view.

Also there is enough in western languages , that I can read, mostly understand the first time, I read it (not always, but often ;-) and can see the pov, these news outlets are having.

Which makes it "strange", in case a chance to blame, with numbers, is not used. Straight away from the first body to the last, after they had the chance to get to all of 'em. On other occasions they stated "xx fatalities, but there are more to expect, total number unknown, yet".

And then there are claims (of course, russian claims), that the Azov Battalion has used that theater as a post.  And blown it up.

Azov is stationed in Mariupol. And in Mariupol there are, right now, the most controversial bombings, first the theater, now the art school, but that has nothing to do, with each other. Right?

That's the most stupid, pathetic and childish response I've ever read

Well done

WW2 will always be relevant

Lest we forget

Its relevant because you want it to be. Anything before that which does not suit your agenda is obviously to be ignored.

Tell me something. Do you still hate the Japanese?

Why mention the Azov battalion and not the Wagner group who are also there? Oh yes its to further the claim of denazification while using a far right neonazi group who are essentially Czar Putins private mercenary army.

Very simple because its fake news. Everything what comes from Russia is fake information the whole world noticed it including the UN. You really wondering why nobody will take anything from a permanent liar like Putin or his fake news channels??!!

Only the brainwashed not realize that!

these are countries that have imposed sanctions against Russia. "The whole world" looks different.

I sent you a link and it doesnt say somthing like that. They write 130 survivors and it is estimted that 800 til 1300 people were inside the building at the time it was bombed. Nothing about what you are claiming!

Do you understand the differences?

Why you left your "favorite news portal", DW? Not supporting your mind set here?

Ukrainian lawmaker Serhiy Taruta said on Thursday that there were no casualties reported so far after the strike.

"After a terrible night of uncertainty, on the morning of the 22nd day of the war, finally good news from Mariupol! The bomb shelter has held out," Taruta wrote in a Facebook post. "People are coming out alive!"

https://www.dw.com/en/ukraine-mariupol-theater-bomb-shelter-holds-after-blast/a-61158421

It is, in special in war times, never good to just try to find the media-outlet, that supports the own narrow minded thinking!

Russia's air strikes and shells have previously hit a maternity hospital, a church and apartment buildings.

when will the BBC provide photos and videos of those who died in this maternity hospital?

what a habit to throw in a fake and not even try to provide at least some evidence?

Has Russia illegally invaded another country and a war now exists between them.

Yes or no?

Oh no, I just haven't mentioned Wagner, b/c they are seen as trying to find Selensky. IN KIEV! Which, last time I checked, is about 700 km away from the Theater in question, here!

Help me out here Karl, how can TASS be like Reuters when TASS is government owned?

I spoke about the field of activity.

you're delusional if you think that private property adds 100 points to the level of truthfulness.

Members,

The number of posts quoting or inferring facts without any supporting references is disturbingly increasing. All members can have their own opinion. However, it will assist the debate if you provide a URL Link to supporting information when quoting or inferring a fact.

That way all members can review the source if they choose.

Disparaging remarks about the heritage of another member or their family are to cease. This is a serious topic to debate. Don't let you passion go overboard in expressing your opinion.

Thanks

I agree, never said anything different. Just pointed out, there may be luckily no "big numbers" of fatalities. And that with this "news" , it got a bit silent about "news" from the theater!

Lest we forget... seems like you have started too already

I  don't hate anyone?

Was pointing out the hypocrisy of someone of German descendant stating Europeans won't forget the murdering of women and children

Do I have to explain the irony of that to you?

The truth is that all of them invade somewhere, the fact that Putin did it last does not justify him, but it does not make him any more bloodthirsty.

Not that I agree with your premise, after all this is hardly the first place he has sent troops to cause death and destruction. What makes him bloodthirsty is the wanton and cavalier actions of his armies. Bombing one hospital could be an accident, even two. But when you bomb dozens it’s a pattern. Destroying bomb shelters, residential neighborhoods, schools, apartment complexes, even shooting people in breadlines. Grinding city after city with artillery is bloodthirsty.

I'm delusional.😂😂😂 It's the way you tell em.

It would appear you wouldn't know the truth if you tripped over it on the way to the 2022 Cossack dance off finals in Propagandagrad. Keep em coming Karl, you are so amusing.😂😂😂

What are you waffling on about now

Where did I say I knew your grandmother or anything remotely like that.

Stop making things up

Yes we British were horrible and if the discussion was about slavery I'd have the decency to keep my mouth shut and not comment.

They are not?

Two days ago the Ukraine military confirmed there had been clashes near Kyiv with members of the private military company Liga, formerly known as Wagner.

Yes you do have to explain the irony of that because it is apparent you are selective about the actions of one country over another.

Lest we forget? I was a British army soldier for 8 years. I have seen armed conflict. So no I dont forget.

Tell me what exactly you have done from the comfort of your armchair.
