Flights of 30 minutes to 3 hours pretty much limits you to ASEAN countries. Probably not going to find a lot of wealthy tourist on those routes

I don't think they're going to find  wealthy tourists from anywhere in the world, but we all know that TATs delusion is incurable.

Seems to me TAT actually have no focus on anything. They simply have a different focus everyday.

The only consistent thing about Thailand is the smile that the TAT give me everyday with thier jokes.

I find this utterly ridiculous. The extra cost of a PCR test prior to departure and another test on arrival will add around 6,000-8,000 baht to your holiday. That’s as much as 3 to 4 times what you would pay for your flight!  It’s proving hard enough to attract people who would pay 20,000-30,000 baht for a flight to take the additional hit. Short haul travellers will see it as simply too much.
