News Forum - Teenager dies in Pattaya motorbike accident amid rainy conditions
From what I read, its unusual for motorbike accidents to result in other than the rider and pillion passengers being hurt or killed. That's not to say it's a good statistic, but if they continue to kill themselves, with little collateral damage to others, well, that is their own look out and that of their irresponsible parents, and indeed a useless Police Service, ineffective school discipline and a government that has no idea how to stem a flood of motorbike accidents that other Nations would not tolerate. When my UK based Son wanted to get a motorcycle license, he had to jump through the hoops of a Basic Skills Course (3 days) , continuing training to take the bike maneuvering test, a Theory test, an under 125 road driving test, followed by a big bike test 2 years later. That's proper effective training. It's not rocket science Thailand.- 1
