I read in the application requirements that you have to have all accommodation for the whole stay of 90 days booked in advance. I heard about different experiences in forums though. Ideally we wanted to travel around in the country and not stay in one place. I think this goes for most people.

Does anybody know how to get around this problem of booking all accommodation in advance? Is it enough to show them a booking through booking.com or Agoda that could be cancelled later?

That's what they state.

Proof of accommodation covering the period of stay in Thailand (after quarantine):

  • Proof of full-paid accommodation which covers the whole period of stay in Thailand (must be issued by legitimate entrepreneur with tax identification number) OR
  • Proof of condominium ownership in Thailand OR
  • Proof of purchase/hire purchase of condominium in Thailand which shows not less than 25% of the full amount has been paid

How long do you intend to stay for?
