In Bangkok and Pattaya everywhere you will see Thai adults riding motorbikes with very small children and even babies from days old to 2 years old.

No children wear helmets. And of course no Thai motorbike drivers put any helmet on newborns or infants either.

Adult motorbike drivers are totally careless, irresponsible and negligent for allowing any child / baby / infant to get on a motorbike.

Furthermore it should be unlawful to allow any child baby under 5 years old to ride on a motorbike. With or without a helmet, it should be unlawful.

Adult motorbike drivers are dually at fault if another vehicle crashes into them and a small child or baby dies.

There are Thai laws in place about helmet requirements but the Thai police elect not to enforce this violation with Thais because almost all cannot afford to pay "happy money" or fines.

Lazy Thai police choosing not to enforce these laws with Thai citizens.  If they did, they would save thousands of lives each year.
