Russian President Vladimir Putin has formally recognised two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine as independent. He’s used this diplomatic word-play as a reason to order the Russian army to launch a so-called peacekeeping mission into the area. His actions are a significant ramping up of diplomatic tensions in the ongoing Russian/Ukraine crisis.The president has ordered his defence officials to deploy troops into the two regions – Donetsk and Luhansk. The fact whether there is 5th day of test for tourists or whether nightlife is opened or bars till 11pm has absolutely no influence on how covid is doing in the country. Literally absolutely no effect at all.

In other words: We will continue to manipulate the Covid response in order to maintain the State of Emergency to ensure no street protests heading into the election.  If tourism continues to suffer, that is a cost of doing business in Thailand.
