A monk allegedly fired shots at residents nearby a temple in the northern province Mae Hong Son yesterday. Reports say the monk fled the scene, but was later found and forced to leave monkhood. Officers searched the monk’s living quarters and found airsoft guns with equipment to modify the pellet guns as well as ammunition. The monk had gotten into an argument over land ownership, a community leader told Thai media. Ah the good old days with BB and pellet guns. When we were kids we used to have BB and Pellet gun team like war games. Now kids do it online. Time for this monk to go back to reality real world now.  

Yes, I remember shooting "friends" with BB guns. We loaded the barrel with strike anywhere matches to light them up.....yes, the good old days. I often wonder how we survived without helmets while riding bicycles.    

daily there is an incident about monks, mostly bad incidents, the people who are suppose to teach discipline do not learn discipline properly.

This all goes to their teachers who made them as monks.

People will loose faith on monks if such type of incidents continue unchecked.
