If you want people to have more babies you need to fix the underlying problem that's preventing them from have more babies. Namely economic uncertainty. Various countries have tried cash schemes or "baby bonuses" (Singapore and Korea come to mind) with little lasting affect. Might be worth a try in THA. Say, for example, 5000 baht per month until the kid reaches 18 yrs of age. Hiring a "superstar" Thai influencer is just a waste of time and money (me thinks).

1972,  no TV may have something to do with having 5+ kids.

Government now pays for the education of the first three children only, chuck in a poverty scare campaign, TV now, a bit of education. and the campaign was a resounding success.

Finally Thailand has a successful policy and they want to change it back.

Tried it in Australia, worked for some young unmarried who got pregnant dumped the baby with whoever and went for a good holiday in Bali with dollars to spare.  Heard one say she needed the holiday after 9 months pregnancy.

Perfectly acceptable to switch the goal post:

• 1972: growth rate of 2.8% = unsustainable (unemployment) --> needs to decrease
• 2022: growth rate of 0.2% = sustainable (near replacement level), but the downward trend is not slowing down, so...
• 2028+: negative growth = unsustainable (smaller labor force for more elders) --> needs to increase

the china situation here....Thailand actually is a very rich country..that shows a monarch who is the richest on this planet payed by thai tax money....how about free childcare. ..free healthservice for parents and child...a monthly cash bonus 5000 bhat ( till the child leaves university.)..if the mother keep regular health checkups...how about free schooling up to a good university degree ?....a high minimum wage of 1000 bhat a day  ... and how about a social system similar to europe ( pensions, unemployment benefits etc )...fixing consumer rights, investor rights, the juridical system..the immunity for high-so etc etc...

bringing up education levels to at least spore or south korea levels...

who wanna bring a new human into an unstable corrupt shark economy with no security whatsoever...????..where the natural resources are commercialy destroyed by the second...( the cutting down  of rainforest that started in the 1920 s and never really stopped till today..the yearly burning of this very forest in the north resulting every year  in a health hazard situation for the citizens )

Thailand in my opinion has much to do but are they able to ?

Now as tourism stopped , and  will not recover in the next ten years the lack of funds and opportunities are showing up... usually the low to medium educated could crack out a living in the tourist sector ( 30 percent country's income )  that is stomped in the ground now...welcome hunger unrests...and/ or the cartel situations raising...

Yeah but these are kids who might be educated too much for what they are looking for. And could you imagine how many 1/2 and 1/2 girl contestants going to compete for Miss Thailand, Miss Universe Thailand, Miss World Thailand and every other international pageant there is and would actually win because those are what Thai think are the most desirable fir representing them. Oodles.
