Price Disparity In Thailand Retail Supermarkets

I've noticed the price for Chicken tenderlion varies greatly between the main 4 supermarkets.

Lotus & Makro have been charging between 68 - 80 baht per kilogram

Villa Market & Central Festival are charging between 700 - 800 per kilogram.

Why the massive difference?

It's up to 1000% markup in Villa Market & Central Festival.

Makro has enough and I prefer Thai food. They have cheese and salad dressing  so good to go. When I go to Chiang Mai I go to Rimping for odds and ends.
