Asians are nuts for Durian

 

I told this in another thread

 

But in the beginning of covid and strict lockdowns in Thailand/Bangkok 

 

My wife was going down to the Durian farms and buying 500-700kgs at a time and selling them outside her house

 

People paying 20usd for what amounted to 2 handfuls of fruit

 

My wife was making 6-8k baht a day

 

They will pay anything for it......
