Moderna Inc., the US biotech company and maker of the popular mRNA covid vaccine, announced on Tuesday its plan to set up four subsidiaries in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan to support the delivery of its vaccines across East and Southeast Asia. They couldn't think of everything, I suppose. But it would be worth reading the contracts governments are signing with companies like Moderna. Perhaps they've been hesitant to agree to all the fine print?

Or perhaps they're just slow? It took them forever to get into Thailand, and then only when demand had waned in America?
