Gonna book a villa in Rawai and wonder how do they usually disinfect (sanitate) pool water (chlorine , UV, other)?

I know I can ask host of a particular property before booking it but I'd like to ask experienced thaigers first.

Salt chlorinators are becoming more common for all new inground pools in Thailand due to lower ongoing maintenance costs.  Confirm salt or chlorine with the management.

Water must be crystal clear & blue color with no taste or smell of chlorine or salt, otherwise might have green & black algae which can carry bacteria & take days to pump / filter out.
APK Rawai might do a private pool inspection for you including chemical analysis.
