The Department of Disease Control has reported a surge in Covid-19 infections in Bangkok, with daily cases rising to around 2,000 a day. According to a Bangkok Post report, most patients are adolescents or of working age. Dr Suthat Chottanapund from the Institute for Urban Disease Control and Prevention says the capital is now recording between 1,800 – 2,000 cases a day. The main cause is where groups congratulate such as bars and pubs. No surprise here.

Congregate? But it is not only hese venues, but malls, stores, public transportation and all the other you name its.

I think the 13,182 was all of Thailand and this 2000 figure is Bangkok only

News Forum - Bangkok experiencing Covid surge as new infections rise to 2,000 a day. …. So the change is to DRIP feed a Provence at a time and let the average Thai use their math skills to make the COVID19 daily total.

The new way is obviously that it is the Thaiger not reporting the numbers …. Bangkok Post is still though, and it’s on the increase.

The country registered 14,822 new coronavirus cases during the previous 24 hours, the highest one-day increase since Sept 11, 2021, the Public Health Ministry announced on Thursday morning. There were 20 more fatalities linked to Covid-19.

Incremental cases were up 1,640 from Wednesday's figures, although the death count dropped by four.
