Hundreds of Thai tourists were stuck on the mountain after visiting the Naga Cave at Phu Langka National Park in Bueng Kan province on Saturday. The cave is known for a giant rock with scale-like marking and a shape that looks like the mystical serpent, Naga. Thai people believe that this is a sacred spot to wish for good luck, especially the lucky numbers for the lottery. No personal responsibility everything is someone else's fault

Local people are never wrong. And if, in  the unlikely event that someone was wrong, it was always someone else. Yes

This is just the way people are now a days.  Everything is someone else's fault.  I live in the US and this type of mentality is all you see.

I'm pretty sure The Thaiger just ran a story hyping the crap out of this place. I just read it today. This "news" outlet talks out of both sides of its mouth.  Zero shame

To be fair, the Thaiger just copied an article in the BP hyping it up on the 4th, the day before the crowds on the 5th.

Why does everything always have to be someone's fault, and someone have to be "wrong" every time something's not perfect?

Maybe it was just unfortunate?

Maybe it was just bad timing by the BP reporter who didn't realise that hyping it up the day before the New Year weekend would bring hordes of tourists with no chance for the locals to do anything about it?

But you did read this last paragraph, right?

"The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Varawut Silpa-archa, says that the national park actually has a visitor limit, park officials will check how authorities managed the situation."

The key word is VISITOR LIMIT

This "Why does everything always have to be someone's fault, and someone have to be "wrong" every time something's not perfect?" is totally misplaced, in case a location WITH A daily people LIMIT is overran by people! That 's SOMEONES fault.

You do not agree?

Reminds me of the Rimsky Korsakov version of Night on Bare Mountain:

Perhaps something to listen to while you read the full story.

But you did read my post, right?

The key word is "MAYBE".

You do understand what "maybe" means, right?

In this case the right people were held responsible and transferred or fired, as the limit of 500 was exceeded and the booking system through the QueuQ app was ignored by the tour guides and local cave staff, who were "local people", despite someone here saying that "Local people are never wrong. And if, in  the unlikely event that someone was wrong, it was always someone else."

Oh ... that was you.

Oh well ...

You really decided to understand things just the way, how it works for you, right?

Seems you fit perfect in here and that explains also, why you seem so obsessed with defending or denying widely known behavior
