Don't see any reason to visit TH now!   Maybe 2023 once the restrictions catch up to the common sense that TH neighbors are using.

I've really been craving Vietnamese food anyways!   So good

Another more than acceptable alternative to Thailand. It's time for Thailand to realize testing upon arrival and afterward, along with a quarantine is going to drive down tourist numbers. If that's what they want, then good for them. However many of us will just go somewhere else instead.

If Thailand does not amend its policy soon it would only appear that government really does not want tourists (western). Instead they are looking for grand slam extremely wealthy - those individuals from US/Aus and Europe are not coming. Hence the play for Malaysia, China, and Saudi Arabia —— shrug

The air is getting thinner for Thailand as its neighbours open up w/o a difficult & expensive testing regime. Thailand wants the tourists back? Well, they needn't look far to see how its done.
