Great! Now only if they'd resume tourist visas on arrival. Who wants to pay for a $300 business visa, plus quarantine, insurance and PCR tests just to visit some beautiful beaches? Phuket might not seem as pristine, but some smaller islands are truly spectacular, if you know where to look and are you're willing to spend a little more to get there.

Until people can just jump on flights when they please with no extra formalities/expense involved as they have been used to pre crisis numbers will remain small.

not many people will put up with all this extra hassle for a holiday,self included.
