Well, it can also seriously impede people trying to get their Thailand passes. If the hotel does not respond within a 30 hour period then the pass will be canceled. Not to mention if the government does not input the data in a timely matter then a lot of passes could be unduly canceled 

I don't understand why the hotel has to report that.
I just asked for a Thailand Pass and I had to add a copy of my hotel bookings.
It is not like they didn't receive those from me.

This is the detailed response I got from a hotel in Rangsit, near my stepson's University

 

People should contact the hotels and communicate with them directly

 

No one wants to be proactive, just do the bare minimum then complain.....

Package 1-night quarantine for 1st day of stay  ( Day1 ) for 1 adult.

-Superior room 28 sq.m: 4,900 THB.
-Deluxe room 38 sq.m: 5,600 THB.
-Junior suite room 48 sq.m: 6,200 THB.

 

All-inclusive of:

  • Free airport pick up to the hotel (sharing with max. 3 persons)
  • 1 time for RT –PCR Tests as per revised Government rules

NOTE :

-Please note: The room with a balcony is a Deluxe and Junior Suite. (not all rooms, depending on availability on period requested.) However, the room without a balcony has a window that can open to fresh air as well.

-In the case of the smoking room, we have an additional charge of 5,000 Baht per room. Kindly advise us in advance, if you prefer a smoking room

- As per our condition we consider the child aged under 12 years old if aged over than 12 years old the room rate will be charged as adult and room rate will be change

 

 

Terms & Conditions:

- The hotel reserves the right to keep outstanding balances in any case of an early official government request to leave a program or by Covid-19 infections during the program participation, without any exceptions. In case of having fever or cough during the stay while not having contracted Covid-19, participants have the right to stay until the end of the program.

- If purchases are made to third-party vendors through the Idle Service Assistant, a 10% service charge will apply.

- Additional requests for Tytocare exams an additional charge of 1,500 Baht/time will apply.

Rules and regulations set by ASQ Ministry of Health.

1. Any food, snacks, souvenirs, or documents are not allowed to be taken out of the room until the quarantine is completed.

2. Family or friends visiting during the quarantine is strictly not allowed.

3. Sanitary or grooming items sent to the quarantined guests are accepted but should be for personal use only.

4. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the guest rooms or common areas. If violated, a fine of 5,000 THB will be charged.

5. In cases where purchases are made to third-party vendors through The Idle Service Assistance 10% service charge will be applied.

5.1  Cooked foods ordered from outside, including food delivery such as Grab food, Food panda, KFC, Pizza, etc., is strictly not allowed.

5.2   Clear sealed packaged food or snacks from 7-11 can be ordered. The delivery service fee is THB 100 net per/1-time order + 10% Service Charge of the total amount. The 7-11 order time is between 8.00 -19.30 hrs. daily.

6.  Cooking in the guest room is strictly not allowed.

7. No pets allowed.

8. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be sold by hotels and served to quarantine guests, that includes alcohol brought to the hotel by family or friends.

 

So, we will send information about you to the ministry of public health as well. Please kindly send us below a copy of your document for our reference too.

1.3 Countries that you live before traveling to Thailand

1.4 Copy the passport’s entire guest

1.5 Ticket flight by sending the attached file to us 

1.6 Vaccine certificated,

1.7 In the case of foreigners. please send us also Healthy Insurance Document valued at 50,000 dollars.

1.8 Hotel Confirmation document of the hotel where you stay (In case you book another hotel)

 

Payment condition :

-Please be informed that from now onward our Ministry of Foreign Affairs required guests to FULLY PAID for room booking.

-This full paid amount is non-refundable

 

Cancellation policy:

- You can postpone your date of stay if the visa is not passed or an unexpected situation occurs. You are not able to cancel the booking after payment has been made. (full payment in advance) Because we will not refund, we will keep your reservation For a period of 3 months. We will refund only in cases where the government terminates the quarantine only.

- There is a mandatory security deposit taken at check-in by either credit card or via a cash deposit. Guests are required to leave a fixed amount of 5,000 THB in either cash or as an authorization on their credit card. All unused amounts of the deposit will be refunded on departure.
