Following Monday’s Cabinet meeting, PM Deputy Spokesperson Trisuree Trisaranakul announced that officials had approved a budget of  1.08 million baht to hire more medical staff on a temporary basis to support healthcare facilities during the ongoing pandemic. A total of 2,402 positions will be open from January to September 2022. I see that's what the original says, in Thai, but 1.08 million over 8 months for 2,402 staff comes to 56 (fifty six) baht per person per month.

Umm ...

if it's 1.08 million per month that's still only 450 baht a month, and if it's 1.08 billion instead of million that's 56,000 baht each per month .....

Ummm ..... another splendid bit of journalism from our intrepid reporters 😂
