According to a report from the Associated Press, Anutin says the drugs that remain on the list are opium, magic mushrooms, and extracts of cannabis containing more than 0.2% by weight of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Another step closer towards Cannabis freedom living, from which there was none.  Now let's see what happens next hopefully the 120 day window can be shorten to between 45 - 60 days.

I think you would hope there is actual proper cannabis to smoke/consume

Thailand has got to have the absolute dog shit worst weed I have ever seen in my life

So hopefully now they will be able to grow proper weed

For those who consume Cannabis I see no reason to be jubilant. Anything with more than 0,2% THC will still be considered a illicit drug. According to Google Cannabis used for consumption has around 20% THC, so we talk about 1:100 dilution. If I were smoking that stuff I don't think that this "legalisation" would impress me much.

If it were decriminalized completely, think there would be an initial surge in experimentation by curious souls who aren't likely to become regular users, decreasing back down to the % of people who are already frequent users, and would be regardless of legal status.  That's my sense of it anyway, like Colorado, USA.  Lots of buzz about it (pun intended) at first, and then meh.  Alcohol, porn, prescription pharmaceuticals, cell phones and bloody internet social media, has had a far more corrosive effect on our species.

Believe average folks with jobs, family, debt, responsibilities, etc., figure out rather quickly that regular weed use doesn't promote a healthy, functional lifestyle.  The uber-strong stuff out there these days, extracts, etc., blows your head off, to the point I don't find it an enjoyable experience.

Fortunately, good weed enhances those things.
