The point isn't whether it's "bloody stupid" or not in isolation but that it's simple to both enforce and to observe.

There's no debate or room for interpretation over what's "outside" or not - a covered market? a sports stadium? an 'open air' bar? - or where it goes from being acceptable to being "tightly crowded" - a bus queue? an MTR platform at rush hour? a pop concert? two metres apart or 1.95?

There are no 'grey' areas - it's either black or white and everyone knows exactly what the rule is at all times and where they stand.

Various specific western studies prove wearing a Std single layer non- medical mask is on average medically useless. muzzling political or cultural fear - driven compliance gesture, as is “2mtr distancing” when we have known from day one the stuff travels and infects Eight mtrs in confined spaces. And hand gel too, with minuscule infection from “ surfaces” ;what utter nonsense. 

Those lower Covid rates probably caused by higher natural immunity, Climate, lower unfitness levels, higher effective vax rates or closure measures .

Pre- vax & Pre Delta ( and “post” factor) comparisons between Thailand & UK are perfect examples exposing govt anti - Covid measures ( exc. vax) as utter BS.

And still it continues with mass media fanning the flames with “ rising Omicron infection rates” whilst ignoring the falling minuscule vaccinated death rates.

No wonder there are so many extensive anti - govt protests on this. 
People sick of being repressed with so few vaccinated deaths.

When will all the silliness end? The ridiculous mask mandates are just window dressing, virtue signaling nonsense. 

 

We've been more masked up than ever before and we still see cases spiking. 

 

It's a virus. This strain is much less lethal than the already not lethal strain. Get over it, stop the ridiculous overreaction and fear mongering propaganda. 

 

Stop using your personal irrational emotional unhinged fears to shame others that fully understand the futility of wearing a mask in every setting.
