Coal oven is the best oven

Most are outlawed now, but if you had them prior to the ban, you were grandfathered in

New Haven, Connecticut

The Pizza Capital of the World

They are all coal oven

The best pizza I had mentioned above is gas heated. Wouldn't trust stoners with wood or fire.

wood firing requires skillful attention to the crust for even-ness. I've had that at bib gourmand places that pulled it off.

Charcoal imbues an amazing flavor to meats. Never had it for pizza as far as I recall.

This is Sally's Apizza in New Haven

Top 5 pizza in the US(so the world)

Coal oven

Kid is annoying in the review but shows the pizza well

I can tell from the screen shot it's good.

It looks like a proper pizza from it's color pattern.

I wasn't into pizza when I visited Italy but my casual sampling there made me feel the US major cities had slightly better pizza :-)  - Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, etc.

Americans aren't fat from eating carrots.

4/5 🍕🍕🍕🍕/🍕

Few guesses going on , missed the date Dominoes introduced.

Best pizza I had in Thailand was a small place in Prachuap near the Ao Manao entrance, near the “ Gift Garrely “ !

Most unusual was in Japan, no base just all the ingredients cooked on the hot plate, fantastic, like all Japanese food imho.

Yes loved them. Called Okonomiyaki?

There was a great restaurant where I lived in Siem Reap, Great for low carb without the base.

I hate this quiz cos now I want pizza and the closest one is in Kanchanaburi CIty, 160km each way so, no deliveries.

What's next to irritate me, Indian food quiz? 🤣🤣😀

I got 3 out of 5.

With you there, had to buy a Chicken Tikka Masala from 7-11 the other day to curb the yearning.

( that’s what living 34 years on the outskirts of Bradford will do to you !! ).

Not sure what they are called, the translator would always say “ Japanese pizza “ to me with a smile.

Same place as the Pizza on the tourist street in Kanchanaburi City.

@DwizzleyMatthews my closest 7.11 is an hour drive and no Indian.

I do mail order of Mughal Indian meals from Siamburi's in Pattaya. Not bad.

One of the best pizzas I've had in Asia wsd in Luang Prabang, Laos

It's called Secret Pizza

An Italian guy married a Laos girl and they open 2x per week in their front yard of their house

You are seriously driving by houses in a village to get there

It’s funny how these great little spots exist in places you’d least expect. I had an incredible pizza in Koh Kong, small town in Cambodia. I asked the owner and she said she learned from an Italian guy at a pizzeria in Trat. Looked for the place in Trat but never found the mother lode.

This place was amazing

It literally was in their yard

And I don't think it was set days they were open

Just random days and you would call around to see I they were going to open that night

Packed with locals and tourists
