Pompies Posted January 18, 2022 #143841 Share Posted January 18, 2022 They are devoid of ideas so continue to flog a dead horse. Dont TAT etc read the indebtedness figures for Thai people? At a time when household debt is at a decades high there is no way that domestic tourism is on the agenda except for the privileged few, so offering a discount that requires expenditure is an utter waste of time. And anyway the fact that most places of entertainment are closed makes this country like a giant graveyard, not an interesting place to visit.

Jason Posted January 18, 2022 #143949 Share Posted January 18, 2022 Reinstating Test and Go would also be a positive move, but having cancelled the last one it's a case of "Once bitten...twice shy". International tourists who follow news in Thailand, know that the testing regimen is low. omicron could be huge right now, but without proper testing, no one really knows....
