There is Money for luxury but no money for basic. Spending at a right time?

The big question is - Does the Junta realise that their time might be up soon, so they are getting as many toys as they can before they are sent back to their barracks in 2023?

Clearly, as if anyone needs any more proof after the last 5+ years, military people just do not understand normal people or how politics works.

Judging by the Air Forces' ability to park helicopters and planes in inappropriate places they should buy a very cheap jet trainer that they can throw away to their hearts content. But of course we all know that this is a rush to grab money before the downfall of the military junta.
